How to Get to Southeast Colorado
By Plane
Flights on major carriers are available into Denver International
Airport or the Colorado Springs Airport. Southeast Colorado is about 3
hours from Denver and just under two hours from Colorado Springs. From
either of these cities you can rent a
car at one of the major car rental agencies and follow these simple
directions.

From Denver, take Interstate 25 south to Pueblo, then follow the
road signs to East Highway 50. Travel on Highway 50 to Southeast Colorado. You can also
take Interstate 70 from Denver International Airport east to Limon,
then turn south on Highway 71 to Southeast Colorado.
- From Colorado Springs, take Interstate 25 south to Pueblo, then
follow the road signs to East Highway 50 to Southeast Colorado.
By Small Aircraft
Pilots of small aircraft may arrive at the La Junta
Municipal Airport, just north of town by the golf
course. For flight information see

Directory. Plans are underway to expand the services at
this facility.
By Train
Amtrak makes daily stops in La Junta from New Mexico or Kansas.
By Car
There are several major highways to take to arrive in Southeast
Colorado. You can take Highway 50 from Pueblo or Kansas, Highway 71 from
Limon, Highway 350 from Trinidad, Highway 96 from Kansas, or several

By Bus
TNM&O Greyhound Bus Lines makes daily stops in Rocky Ford, from which
you can base your stay in Southeast Colorado.
